FOR INDIRECT H2O, YOU WILL NEED A SECOND SENSOR THAT WILL CLIP INTO THE MANAGER, AND OVERRIDE THE MANAGER INTERNAL SETTINGS TO BRING THE BOILER UP TO HIGH LIMIT FOR THE HOT H2O PRODUCTION

Beckett Heat Manager
I'm thinking of putting a beckett heat manager on a boiler I own. Boiler is a Crown CT3 running three zones, 1 apt each zone. Have no experiance with the unit but if it will save some money great. Oh I forgot 1 more zone with an indirect.0 -

This should explain about this control. It will save you money but a conventional indoor/outdoor reset like a Tekmar 260 would probably save you more.

Heat Manager
The Heat manager is a great product it works as advertised.I have put in 16 of them with excellent results.The heat manager can be used by itself or with an outdoor reset control The tekmar is excellent by the way.a reset controls the water temp based on outdoor temp but I am not aware of one that will do what the Heat Manager will do which is increase the differental setting under low load conditions.Beckett guarantees in writing to save you 10 percent or they will refund your purchase price up to$350.00.the longer run times are more efficent and vry desireable.

I've
installed quite a few and they do work.A full blown ODR will yield higher savings but at a much higher initial cost.Given the cost of the unit and Beckett's savings guarantee and the cost of fuel,I can't understand why everyone who owns a boiler and is not sold on ODR doesn't have a HeatManager.

That's
incorrect.The DHW sensor is for tankless coils,it's not required with an indirect.
