4 degrees colder upstairs. 10 in 1 of the rooms (steam)

in THE MAIN WALL
I changed the air vent in for all the radiators on the second floor, but it is still 4 degrees colder then the 1st floor. one of the rooms is 10 degrees colder. I got an air vent with an extra large hole for that one. Still no differance. I wrapped the pipes down in the basement with insulation. still no differance. esspecially that one room thats 10 degrees colder.

    Need more information

    Is it 1 or 2 pipe .

    What pressure are you running.

    How long & what size are your mains .

    How is you near boiler piping .

    Start there I'm sure you will get many more ?

    i LOOKED ALL OVER THE BASEMENT AND ARROND THE BOILER. i EVEN LOOKED FOR WHAT MIGHT BE PLUGS WERE A MAIN VENT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. cAN'T FIND ANY

    its 1 pipe, no more then 2psi, cant find any mains at all, dont know what a near boiler piping is, should I just chang the whole radiator

    That you ask someone knowledgeable with your system about the vents. You should not have to replace a radiator.

    i POSTED A SIMILAR QUESTION LAST YEAR AND OUR PROBLEM TURNED OUT TO BE THAT THERE WAS ONE HOT WATER VENT ON ONE OF THE MAIN RUNS THAT A MAINTIANCE PERSON PUT ON. REPLACED WITH STEAM VENT AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROMBLES. yOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHANGE A RADIATOR.
