WA cross connection
I was wondering if anyone was aware of a ruling in washington state that allowed a rinai on demand water heater to serve both a fan coil heating unit and serve as domestic hot water on the same piping with no seperation between DHW and heating water?0 -
Are there other states where this is allowed?0 -
Not something I like but
It is allowed as long as the heater is rated for space heating & domestic hot water supply by mfr. Caveat, except for some municipalities. You need to check with each jurisdiction, but so far I have not heard of many who don't allow it.0
