    Wife's daughter in law said when she was growing up, her dad built a system with a 500 gal+ tank in basement, heated from solar panels, and an air handler blowing air over the heated tank to get warm air in the house. early hydro-air??

    Was the tank open? If so, I would think that it would dump a lot of humidity into the house. Kind of like an evaporative heater instead of cooler
