8\" vs 5\" Tube on a Power Gas Burner

I'm buying a Wayne P250 with a 8" tube (see attached) which can be adjusted to about a 5" tube length. The original oil burner tube length looked like it was about 5". Should I be concerned about the tube length for the boiler's little combustion chamber?

End Cone Burn off
If you set the blast tube too far in to the combustion chamber it will burn of on its off cycle . Read the directions it will tell where to set it .0 -
Thank you.
Hopefully, the installer will read the manual or know what he's doing. So far I've been satisfied with his work.0 -
The tube
should typically be recessed about one inch back from the inside of the combustion chamber. This is especially true if it is the standing pilot version, otherwise you may experience pilot outage.0 -
Welcome back from surgery!
I'll be getting an electronic ignition version but I'll let the installer know. Thanks!0
