That wedding will probably be more memorable to the couple and guests than if they (YOU) had spent 15 thousand on the catering. Think about it, WHO says you gotta have all these flowers, impractical dresses, etc... etc...?
Why the people selling them of course!
I've heard of rich folks laying down 100K on a wedding that soon ends in divorce. How tragic is that.
I'll bet your daughter was more relaxed, and able to enjoy/remember her special day than those nervous flustered brides to want the "broadway production" to go off perfectly.Kevin

And my little girl was the bride!!

Talk about a bunch of suprised people...

I'm still recovering from the shock.

Said they didn't want to burden the families with the cost of a big wedding. Gosh, I love those kids.

Guess I'll have to give her dowerey to her first born for clothes:-)

From what we have discussed they seem to be extremely happy and very much in love! I was happy to hear that the event was enjoyed by all and the celebration continued well into the evening.
