Wow, with all those candles someone should have had a combustion analyzer there to make sure things were okay, looks like some serious candlepower

Happy Birthday Paul, looks like you have a beautiful family to grow old with!

    It's Paul's 40th Birthday!!

    Hi All,

Paul turns 40 today and I was hoping you all could give him some grief about it for me. We had a party for him last night and almost started the house on fire as you can see in the picture.

    Thanks,
    Sarah Rohrs

    Wow!

He sure knows how to light up a room. Happy Birthday, Paul!
    Retired and loving it.
  • Paul it is all downhill

from now on as the "Magic 40" takes hold. You can expect any day now what I call furniture disease, that is when your chest falls into your drawers.

You will also notice those aches and pains you had occasionally will now be there everyday.

There is a bright side however and that is I at 65 have been putting up with this for 25 years, then again this is what you have to look forward to.

Happy 40th anyway and may God bless you with many more.

By the way nice of your wife to sic all of us "Bums" onto you. Just kidding.

Putting out some btu's there. Next time I would suggest calling the fire dept. first ;-)

Family and friends are what it is about. It looks like you are extremely lucky with a beautiful family.

I know I consider myself fortunate and much better off by knowing you Paul. I consider you a great friend!

    Happy birthday!!!

    Happppy birthday Paul

Whenever it matters about things I either like or don't like, I don't count, just like I'm sure no one counted how much delicious cake they ate.

It may still all seem uphill to many.

    Best regards

    Wow! Thanks All..

My wife is a keeper. Next to my family, my Wallie friends mean a great deal to me.

They say 40 is "The new 30", but that's only to 50 year- olds.

After I regained consciousness from my cake-induced sugar coma, I had a great day. Family and friends were here from LA to Kansas City and nothing beat's summer BBQ'ing with the fam.

    Thanks again everyone.

    Regards,

    PR

    Your card awaits you!

Happy Birthday & welcome to the dark side. Life begins at 40 & don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It gets a bit more painfull, as Timmie said, but it gets much sweeter as time passes.

    Enjoy your day Paul!

40? Forty? It seems like an eternity ago and it seems like yesterday. I was 40 when I got a wild hair and left the family business to start one of my own. My next one is FIFTY (that's 5 0) fifty. I don't know where the 40's went. Enjoy 'em while your in 'em friend.

All together now............HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...........

    (picture me singing here) :)

    incompetent U.S.P.S

... they must have lost my invitation ;-)
    Please forgive me.

When I first saw the picture, I didn't recognize you. You don't look any older, I just thought it was Red Adair.
Then I noticed your expression, and could tell you were instinctively adding outdoor-reset and full modulation to that burner.

Some people wouldn't believe it, but before you shut 'er down, you probably did an instant combustion analysis using nothing but your your cat-like senses. Bacharach who?

    Seriously,
I read recently that folks begin to grow old when they start to look BACKWARD at their life instead of FORWARD.
I'd say you're still in your prime! Besides, your retirement benefits are OUT OF THIS WORLD- Literally!

May we all hold your standards of excellence and integrity.

Your "brother by another mother" Kevin
