Burner unit
Searching for a burner unit or replacement for a Custom Air heater Model CW-60-D btu's 55,600 manufactured by Heating equipment manufacturing of San Fransisco,Ca, in or around 19750 -
Not for any reason in particular
but to replace just the burner on a 32 year-old unit, does that make sense? I mean, the heat exchanger, controls, fan... so many things to go wrong the next cycle with a unit on borrowed time as it is.
Does it make more sense to replace it entirely? I mean, 55.6 MBH is not that big of a unit. I would think the cost of a total replacement plus possibly higher modern efficiencies and safety devices would give peace of mind beyond net dollar value.
Just my $0.02
