I agree. The compressor is probably not running. Or it could have bad valves or otherwise broken.

  hi i am a heating guy with a little a/c experience my own central air unit is not cooling i put my gauges on and they both read the same what does this mean?

  Check and make sure the compressor is running... sounds like it's not.
