Red Rubber tubing
Has anyone come across a Red Rubber tubing product used in radiant under-floor staple up applications by the name of Bio Flex ECR 3/8"??
Does this product have an oxygen barrier?
I visited another orphan system yesterday and there it was just staring back at me. I would appreciate if anyone has any information.
Thank you in advance!0 -

Possibly a gates product? - how old?0 -
Red Rubber
It was Bio Energy Systems from Ellenville, NY.
It was a non barrier product that was discontinued around
1996. I think it was made by Gates. I had it in my house and lost my Extrol after one year. I had to isolate the system with a HX and then add a thermxtrol. Later I replaced it with Uponor pex tubing. Bio Energy later became Bio Thermal and now is no longer in business.

Thank
you Steve. I appreciate the information you have provided and I will approach this as a non-barrier tubing project.0
