In MA does the code specify that an automatic water feeder on a gas boiler be 24 volts as opposed to 120 volts? If so what section of the gas code is that information listed. I am getting two interpretations of this subject, thanks.

I cannot find any
reference in my copy of 248 CMR or 527 CMR 4.00 that addresses this (Gas and Oil codes respectively).
I could be wrong, but unless it is a local requirement, the code seems to be silent on that detail.
Absent better information, it at least makes sense that the water feeder, as with any safety device, be wired on the same circuit as the appliance. I suppose that is where any specificity of voltage comes into play, that it match the appliance's voltage being on the same circuit. What does the AHJ say?

It may be in the nass. boiler code. I don't think voltage is an issue but I think a water feeder is required on steam if the job has condensate return or boiler feed pumps. Basically any job that is not gravity return a feeder is required.
