Does any one know of a high efficiency boiler that is approved to use in a non-barrier tubing system?

I have been told that the Triangle Tube Prestige does but I am having trouble finding that printed in the manual.

    Provided that you have a heat exchanger in between the non barrier part of the system and the boiler. I would think that this would be the only sane way to connect them.

    you for your response.

    I completely understand what you are implying but that is not my goal.

    If I used a heat exchanger to separate the systems would require a rather large heat exchanger based on the load and higher temperatures that would take the boiler out of condensing mode.

    This system is multi temperature and I am trying to utilize non-ferrous components for the system as a whole.

    BTW - I may not be sane in my approach. :)

    Most of the stainless steel boilers would most likely be OK but I don't know of any one that says so.

    Your bigger problem is the rest of the system - think Extrol, etc.

    These folks have an annual visit to replace the expansion tank and can not figure out why.

    But I believe we can eliminate this with a potable expansion tank. (Therm-X-trol)

    I don't think you'll find any manufacturer that will warranty an installation without a heat exchanger. Would the heat exchanger be quite large? A thousand bucks or less seems like a decent price to not have to worry about it.

    The cost of the heat exchanger is not an issue. Although I do agree with you about not having to worry about it would be priceless.

    This project is going to be tricky enough to adequately fit everything in the space we have been provided. With the additional scoop, circs, exp tanks, etc. that we need for the HX system could potentially eliminate access for future service of the system as a whole.

    pool heat

    take a look at a W/M pool heater as the exchanger model #wmph 200 or 400 the delta T is 45 degrees and is small and compact good luck
