Jim,

The lower the number, the lower the temperature setting, etc. They have a full adjustment range of 45F-86F, #3 (mid-range) is about 68F and there is about 5 degrees +/- between each number.

    steam TRV valve

    Dial is from 1-5.. Does anyone know if 1 is the highest or lowest setting??
