Incredible thinking on that loop. I would probably still be sitting there scratching my head trying to figure what to do with it. Thank you for the explanation, it may come in handy some day!!

Incredible
That is a work of art!! I do have a question though, on the second pic, your far left RMB has a bypass above the block itself? Just curious as to what it's for. I would love to be able to do a project like that. A true artist if ever there was one.0 -
job

Work of Art
Ray that is one beautiful piece of craftsmanship! A mechanical symphony! That work really gets me fired up for hydronics. I can't wait to pipe a boiler again, I am tired of military HVAC. Keep up the great work.

Reads Like a Diagram, Ray!
Ray, that is outstanding. I remember the in-progress pics some weeks back. This really fills in nicely!
How many zones and what are the emitters again?
It will be interesting to see fuel savings but also how comfort improves given the typical "old church" large, semi-zoned systems. This will give the week-day operations a break on utility costs, I imagine.
Hats Off to You!

Thanks guys! The comments from everyone mean alot to me and seeing everyone elses installs are what makes me strive do always try to do it better! I'm DYING to hear about the energy reduction on this one! They had an engeering co give them 65% as an educated guess with the new boilers, windows, and insulation. We removed a 2 pipe steam system and installed 30 buderus panel radiators in one half of the building and the other half was existing wall convectors.
LCHMB.. good eye! That was a questionable tee if there ever was one installed above the far left radiant mix block. Long story short? There was a parish hall which was GROSSLY over-radiated (150 degrees on design day) so to solve the over heating problem I bid a three way mixing valve buderus mix station with a tekmar 360 room sensor. All sounded peachy until I realized that the existing convector system had seperate feeds and a COMMON return! So when I ran my plumbing from the old to the new mechanical room, I split the loops at the mix block and installed the erie zone valve to stock back feeding when the mixed zone was not calling for heat. I was VERY skeptcial on whether or not it would work, but here's how it does. My design temp is 170 on a zero degree day, I'm pulling a 20 * delta T so basically, I'm pulling 100 % return water into the mixed zone all the time when both zones are calling, (which isn't that often thankfully) it was a nightmare planning this one though, I really wanted to find where the loops split, but it was 1950's construction and on a slab so it was impossible. Works like a charm though. Thanks again to Darin, Matt, Brad, Scott, Ted, Bob, and Mark, and LCHMB for the comments! Happy new years
