    what happened to pipe cat?

I had cordless pipe cutter, pipe cleaner and fitting cleaner made by Pipe Cat. I went to the web site to order another and it said that they were no longer manufactured after May,06. Does anyone know if they were bought out, or is there a comparible tool out there? Any info would be helpful.

    Maybe...

...some reputable American company can make something better than that Chinese thing.

    Pipe Cat

    Say Chris,

I heard that the inventor has gone to volunteer down south, Ktrina. He poured his life savings, blood, sweat and tears into the tool. Bankrupt now and lost his house. So much for the American dream!

    down sides

the down sides are it is two big and clumsey, it does not save any time, i can do it faster with my # 10 cutter.
Only place you might use it affectivly is cutting down 20'ers to 10's if you had a large amount of bundles.

    Got one here in NY

    Make an offer.

Used a few times. No one here liked it except me, and I don't "do" that part of an install anymore.

Would love to see it go to someone who needs it.

    Cats

Hey Brad that reminded me of the time I was trying to reach the end of a fish tape while running a thermostat wire on a remodel job. I was reaching into the joist bay between floors up to my shoulder when something grabbed my finger and started tugging. I almost fell off the ladder I was so shocked.

My finger was bleeding, and while I was trying to apply the tradesman bandage (papertowel, and electrical tape) we noticed the home owner's cat slip out the the hole I just had my arm in.

Now every time I stick my hand in a dark hole I freak myself out wondering if there is anything that will chop my hand off in there......

    That would be \"Silky\"

AKA "The Silk-Meister" and he is an elegant creature. My Susan also calls him "Stud Muffin".

    Hey, now wait a minute.....
