automatic water feed

in THE MAIN WALL
Why would the automatic water feed go on and off continuously while the boiler is under full steam (for example, the water feed will go on for only 10 seconds or so, every 30-45 seconds or so)? This only started to happen after the low water cutoff was replaced.

    if you are on domestic water.....

    the low side of the pressure control valve may be creating some definite problem also...
