be sure air is completely purged from system, air will make ur boiler work harder to satisfy ur thermostat wasting costly btu's. check ur circ pump, is it working?? check the temp set on aquastat, 180 deg. F is perfect. check temp guage to ensure boiler shuts down after satisfying aquastat. hope this helps ya. good luck

I have a oil Burner with Hot water heating all the Radiator gets hot but my boiler will come on when all the Radiator gets cold. When The Termostat calls for heat the Boiler will run for 45 to 50 minutes before it will get heat is my Aqustat set wrong.0 -
You're saying.........
When the boiler fires, it takes 45 minutes before you feel any heat at the radiators?
If you could, give us a little more detail about the system. Is it old or newer, cast iron rads or baseboard, Steam or hot water, if it's water is it pumped or gravity flow? etc.0 -
I have a hot water system with base board and cast iron radiator also i have a l8148a Aqustat the problem is all radiator will get cold and the temperature will drop in Boiler to 100d f there is any way to keep temperature to aproxmately 140d so when Termostat call for heat it already has hot water in system.0
