hello, i want to install a indirect water heater to a steam boiler but havent seen nor heard of it bein done. i believe if i use a Superstor, the tappings feed n return through transfer plate will be lower than water level in boiler. but, with a pump circulating is it possible that the low-water cut off will be affected?? or is there anything else i need to do or know about what i want to do? any replys r appreciated, thanks!0 -
Consider buying the lost art of steam heating...
... Dan lays out in it what kinds of hot water loads can be attached to steam boilers. Here is a direct link to the book, it's well worth the cost.
Dan also recently posted this link to a online chapter from his book How Come? that details how to properly attach a hydronic zone to a steam boiler. I imagine that the same principles apply with an indirect water heater.0
