Your verbage makes it a little unclear as to what you're asking, but if I understand correctly, you want a sealant to remount the burner to the mounting plate? If so,don't use silicone, buy a new burner gasket. You may never get the burner back off. No sealant is necessary between the gasket and the plate, unless you use never-seize, which will allow easy removal and replacement of the gasket.

If you are removing the burner "door" to clean the combustion chamber, you may need to replace the gasket if it rips when you remove it. With the newer Gold boilers, we use never sieze on the door gasket. Haven't had to replace one yet. If the gasket is OK, use some graphite based never seize...great stuff. If the gasket ripped, use burner rope, set in the groove with hi-temp silicone, and then use the never-seize.

Sealant
Al Thanks for the info. Tom0 -
an adhesive known in the solid fuel trade as Waterglas
is to be preferred over any silicone sealant for your rope gasket. The wood stove trade is the best place to find a replacement gasket if your local manufacturer's rep cannot get you some. The woodies sell it off of a bulk roll.0
