    cleaning steam boiler

    I have a weil Mclain 368st boiler it is used for heat and hot water,is it wise to flush the boiler with t.s.p,or other non petroleum base product? Thanks Tom

    You may want to call Weil-McLain. There number is (219) 879-6561. Ask for the technical help desk. Say you are a contractor - you may get better service.

    We have a Weil-McLain in our home and put in TSP a couple of years ago and the water in the water vile is still clean. You still need to clean out (drain water) once a week or so.
