Layered tubing

I would be interested to know if it is proprietary or a design intent of some sort. My gut says the crossings will interfere with the output from each other and give hot spots. My mental image is one of a thermograph looking like a mattress.
Still, always learning. Curious and content.

Layered tubing
I have a customer asking about installing a floor heat system with under a gym with multipe layes on tube criss-crossong each other. Has anyone heard of this and what would be the advantages of it?0 -
I can't think of any practical or thermal advantage over the same amount of tubing placed in a conventional manner but the labour would be higher and it would require more thickness. It also might be more prone to damage during installation.0
