go for it. I've had good results with both brands. I like the finger-wheel adjustment on the VR #1, when combined with a Vaporstat it can give you some easily adjustable control over a radiator.

    Ventrite versus Hoffman radiator air vents

    I have two radiators where for some reason, Gorton vents are noisy and a Ventrite works quietly.

    I need to buy another air vent. Is the Hoffman worth the $10 premium over the Ventrite? What are the differences, since the spec sheets don't tell me much.
