Did a service call Friday. Ran into an old boiler, any body out there know who I can contact for replacement parts?

The boiler is called a HYTECH. Owner had the service manual. Phone number and address no good.

Hydronic Technology, Inc. Box 369 Wellesley Hills, Mass. 02181

I guess if I cant get a hold of manufacture, will have to sale client new boiler. Older couple, fixed income I'm trying to save them some bucks.

Thanks for the help. Todd

Who's Going to Eat it ?

Just beware of how far you go or willing to stick your neck out...If the unit is 20 and better ,with the high price of fuel it would be safer ,better and cheaper over time installing new....With a lot less risk on your part.. Sure they would be happy if you run around to save them a couple buck ,but if it fails you will be held responsable ? Boy could they change tones.... Sure do the right thing ,just don't exstend into risk.. Ask me how I know this :)

Sell them a new boiler, do a good job, back it up with warranty and good service, and let them reap the benefits of the fuel saving. Otherwise, the next part will go out soon, ("...but you just fixed it"), and you will own this boiler and repair from now on; for free. Tough love.

Yo Big Ed - It's never happened to me of course, but I've read about it in books.

    HVAC-Talk

subject came up a few months ago and one of the members posted an outfit who still supplied parts for those wrecks. I believe they are also the same as the Paloma Pack boilers. Paloma owns Rheem though Rheem suppliers wouldn't be able to help. Might ask on HVAC-Talk.com and hope that member sees your post.
