in the big scheme of things.
Theoretically, a flat elm leaf green color emmits the greatest amount of radiation. But we're talking a .002 percent difference. So long as you don't use a metallic color, I think you'll be just fine and comfy. Don't forget to use a paint rated for the temps which it will see....

Steam Radiator Painting
I read Dan's article in the Library concerning painting steam radiators. I understand the difference between "metalic" and "non-metalic" paints.
My question is, within the non-metalic category, which will allow the radiator to radiate or transfer the most heat - a white top coat or a black or colored top coat?
