valve leaking

Hello gentlemen. Great site. I have a SlantFin hot water boiler that has a valve that was shooting hot water from the pinhole in one of the caps. The valve is a Watts 240T
175psi about 2" from the pressure relief valve. There are two screw on caps, black and red, the red one is leaking.
I blocked the top to stop the leak until I can get a tech in to replace it. What is this valve and will blocking it for a day or so to keep my heat do any harm?
Thank you
John

You should have a contractor look at it. While it "sounds" like a Watts DuoVent, I am not sure.
You can also call Slant/FIn technical services on Monday. The phone number is 800 873 4346. Please understand that the technical services person may refer you to your contractor.

You are absolutely correct. It is a Duo Vent and it was repaired today. Thank You
