Hi all! I have a SlantFin Prodogy21 Model KC-90 wall mounted hot water baseboard system. For the last 4 days or so there was pipe noise(banging)I bled system(not sure If corect way)Noise stop still no heat, just warm to the touch. Also, boiler was runing only on Hi fire and for some reason the Aquastat was running at 220. Aquastat was a Honeywell L4080D, which became obsolete, so I replaced it with Honeywell L4008A. After replacing bad Aquastat boiler started to run normal and switching from Hi fire to Low fire with ease. Heat was a bit better, but not hot, just warm and house feels like a freezer. Is there not enough pressure, gas/air ratio not set properly? Please help! I'm not a professional, just a handyman trying my best. My boiler is 8 years old. Thank you.

it may have overlived its life time if you dont get the air out.
