that is used for cutting granite for the placement of round and oval sinks this blade i have seen lashed up to a floor rolling saw. Hot Rod posted the "saw" about 5 6 months ago ,if so i may still have a j peg of it. you cut the floor in straight lines buh it has this cupped blade that allows you to make very "swoopy" "Uie" nifty corners.

let me go look. see if i can find the pic *~/:)

grooving pex into old concrete floor

I am looking at a situation that requires putting radiant tubing into an existing slab floor. Heigth cannot be raised, full demo cost prohibitive. Seen this done some years ago with concrete saw 1 1'2 deep, 1" grooves, 1/2" pex, miter the ends for the curves, goopy special concrete, hit it with a vibrator as you go, surface it after. Anybody got some better ideas, or pitfalls to watch out for? Love to hear em.

    Check with Felcie

he actually got to test drive that saw package that US Saw built for this application.

I don't think the system really took off like they thought. Last I heard they were willing to sell off the components.

Thanks for the info, I am curious about that tool, although the general is definately stuck with that part of the job. In the immortal words of Hunter Thompson, "We are, after all, professionals.", add to that old knees and (according to my wife), some hearing loss. I'll come back to check on their progress periodically. Any other thoughts on tubing install and special cement goop appreciated also
