A Radiator Not In Dan's \"E.D.R\"
I actually found a radiator in a home in Bellows Falls, VT,that was not in the E.D.R. book. I need to figure the sq. ft of steam in this unit to size a replacement boiler properly. The radiator is round with 18 separate 1" diameter verticle tubes, arranged with 10 tubes on the outside and 8 on the inside. The unit is 10" in diameter, and 33" in height. Please teach me how to figure out the problem, or where to find the answer. Thanks, Shocked in VT0 -

Sounds like this might be similar
to the one Long Beach Ed just got on eBay. Here's the link to the thread, with pics, is yours similar? If so, you can find ratings in the Library.

I was able to return to take pics of the radiator in question. Looks alot like a "Bundy", but I am not sure.
If this is indeed a Bundy, how is the square footage figured? Ron W.0 -
Is there a name
cast somewhere in the base? I'd say either a Reed (H.B.Smith Co) or a Bundy (A.A. Griffing)?0 -
Name
I looked everywhere and found no name plates at all. Ron W.0
