not a rubber hose

in THE MAIN WALL
Due to age,(79) eyes,(1) anything else you want, I got a flashlight and checked on that rubber hose I said was in the steam return, WELL, it turned out to be a 1/2 inch copper pipe. Can't get any closer than about 10 ft. and its dark in there. Thought it was a red hose.

    Good, you can sleep safely now. There is not much wrong with copper on return lines.
