Anybody have 4 1/2\" pipe fittings?

...structural tubing is actually 5" OD, so that bit will match. You'll never find fittings, or be able to thread it though. I'd think about cutting a 4" nipple in half, and getting the welder to do a stub-in on the header.

Anybody have 4 1/2\" pipe
I am changing out a large steam boiler and thought that it was a 5" main -- turns out to be a 4 1/2"(5"od).
Does anyone have some 4 1/2" fittings including a 4 1/2" to 4" reducer or should I just weld on a 5" pipe as that is the OD of the 4 1/2" pipe.
Called all my suppliers and no one has it.0 -
You Can...
... get round structual tubing that is 5" OD, but there won't be any fittings or way to cut a pipe thread on it. I'd consider getting a 4" nipple, cut the threads off one end, and get a welder fish-mouth it into the old header. That will leave you with pipe that you can work with.0
