For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Carol make sure you say hello and give her a warm welcome. this is very sharp and kind lady in our industry that can be of great help to you!
I have had the privilege of working with Carol through NAOHSM for the past several years now and I can tell you every time we have Carol as a guest speaker for technicians she fills the room, Im talking standing room only. Everyone walks away a little smarter. It doesnt get much better than that. Oh wait yes it does because now you can learn from her right here on heatinghelp.com

Carol's book
I purchased Carol's Basic Electricity book a year ago for my son who was preparing to take the HVAC license test. Michael is a CPA but tired very quickly of public accounting. He had no previous knowledge of electrical controls or wiring, so I got the book for him. He studied the book, got the basic understanding, and passed the test.
Carol is an excellent communicator and she connects with people.

That sounds like a great idea...
miss Fey ,have you a list of controls that dont marry up due to minor technicalities in circuit formations within the controls?
can communication be accomplished by using say a Calleffi computer controller for intergration of controls that use sensors of different d.c.voltages? say a guy such as myself, wanting to use stand alone controls ,also wanted to set parameters for the stand alones so that they would preform in a way that would satisfy a range of response that is outside of the general intent of their individual designe, for trouble shooting and or temporary marginal functioning...although i dont really Like the idea of having to do this ,i am often called upon to make things GO when it is clearly against the grain of the designe of the controls...and so far, i have to Go 'there'; rewire or unwire things and make them 'happen' return at another time and lash them all back up correctly. what i 'think' makes no difference.... as these are the demands that are placed upon my time.i feel like an idiot asking such a vauge question BTW. however ,i am going to live with it .so, let me elaborate a bit further...i would like to be able to do this from a laptop in my van vs running across town to physically rewire things to do stuff that these things werent designed to do.0 -
Congrats to Carol
It all works out in the end...just when my new assignment leaves me little time to field your questions on the Wall, along comes my colleague & friend Carol to fill the void. You are in good hands, she knows her stuff! Good move, Dan!0
