old radiant piping

of replacing an old Arcoliner boiler...below is how it was piped and next to it the way I propose to redo it. There is not a lot of flow to the floor which is probably the reason why it was run at very high temps(copper in concrete)....I want to add a circ. and run it at lower temps and a higher flow rate (Speed 1 on a 15-58) with Mixing valve(did not show in drawing for simplicity sake) . HO justs wants heat not alot of frills reset/ injection, etc. is not possible now. What do you think?
