Solar assisted Radiant floor

to the Solar Power conference in Wash DC yesterday. Attended a class put on by Peter Biondo on Solar assited radaitn floors. If there was any danger of me becoming complacent about my trade it is totally gone. I woke up at 4 this morning with piping diagrams racing through my head. The term for this particular mental illness could be called "hydro-loop loopiness." Got my first close up look at the evacuated tube absorbers. Very impressive data. Apparently you gotta keep snow offa them though. Since the tubes are in a vaccum they don't heat up very well when covered by a blanket of overnight snowfall. I'm going down to the Solar Vilage tomorrow to look at the solar decathalon competition between Universitys on Solar Design. Life is good. :-) WW

Monday for me!
WW, I'm "going in" on Monday. Hope to chat with UoC students while there & get some pictures. Then it's off for a Wallie dinner extravaganza at RFE.
