Gravity hot-water system
I have a customer who has a gravity hot water system, which was converted to a circulator many years ago. The problem is that there is 3 floors (apartments), and only the left side of the house is heating up. The right side, is cold, but filled with water. There is one circulator on the return, and the feed is split into two branches (one for each side of the house). The branch heating up is a full 2 inch line, and the other is bushed down to 1 inch. I'm thinking of putting a circ. on the 1 inch side return, just to get flow on that side of the house. Any comments, or tips would be much appreciated.0 -
well,....
why not put it back the way it was designed to work and leave it alone?0
