Member Posts: 2
I have recently remodeled my kitchen and removed the steam radiator with the hope of installing radiant floor heat I know a FHW zone can be added to a steam Boiler, but what are the pros and cons? I intend to run this as a zone off the existing Steam system that heats the rest of the house?
Any suggestions piping diagrams things to look for or look out for would help

It can be done.................
Bob,
I have done it on a few jobs. You need to use a heat exchanger and some kind of mixing method but it can be done with the right control strategy.
