Cellulose and spray foam

are largely dependant on the integrity of the applicator. There are a number of differing compositions as well. In a project I am recently involved in I was quoted 1/2lb, 2lb, and 5lb. Check out: http://www.icynene.com/assets/documents/Icynene%20Spray%20Formula.pdf to see what will work best in your application.

Cellulose and spray foam
anyone know the R value for these,I've been doing some research and can't find the value.0 -
Dense Pack (sprayed & shaved) Cellulose: 3.7-3.8 per inch
Loose Fill Cellulose: 3.5 per inch
Icynene: 3.6 per inch (they claim because it forms an air/moisture barrier that it's at least twice as good as other insulation with the same r-value)
Spray Polyurethane Closed-Cell Foam: Around 6.0 per inch (claims similar to Icynene)
Rigid Polyurethane Closed-Cell Foam Board: 6.5 - 8.0 per inch
Fiberglass Batts: 3.1 - 3.6 per inch depending on density. Easiest to install but requires CAREFUL attention to detail.0
