heard on the radio
I was listening on the radio last week that they are expecting natural gas to go up as much as 71% this winter. My current heat source is a 1988 vintage FA furnasty. It looks like I'll be taking a weekend soon and installing a new 92.4% efficient variable speed, modulating gas furnace. I'll be installing a high efficiency air filter at the same time.
It looks like the Munchie and plates I was planning on installing gets thrown a little further into the future.
Oh well.

I have
Beleive me, I have....
That's on the drawing board. I'll put a HW coil between the furnasty and the evaporator coil.

Only a 71% good idea
To keep warm?
How about first getting a warm sweater, and then later on, a nice steam system with hot radiators.0 -
save energy
use a modulating condensing boiler with a six-pass coil and you'll be able to keep the return temps in condensing ranges under design-temp conditions.

Dave, Whose coil do you use that has a six-pass coil? WE have not found a mfg. for that. Thanks0
