I have a 2-pipe steam radiator system in my home. Is it possible to convert from an old 2-pipe cast iron radiator to a finned baseboard heat? I have a bath (7x7) and the old cast iron radiator takes up too much space. I'd like to stay away from cast iron wall units or baseboards. Can a typical finned baseboard unit be used? I have galvanized pipes now in the heating system...can i just add a copper finned baseboard unit? I keep getting conflicting advice.
