Labor Day

was a great day. A little bar-b-que, a day off, time with the kids, etc. Holidays are a good thing.

There are so many things to think of regarding Labor Day. I just want to recognize and thank all those who came before us, that through their labor, built this country and risked (and sometimes lost) their lives to make this place what it is.

Going forward the challanges that face those in the Gulf Coast will be monumental, but, with time rebuilding both structures and lives will happen. It is the American way to tackle any challenge.

As you go back to work on Tuesday, try and remember how good you have it compared to how it was a century ago, and please remember to work safely. Remind your friends, co-workers and anyone else you come across to work safely too. I have more than enough to do as it is!
