    check the subbase

Sorry no wiring diagram but make sure you have it in the right designation on the subbase one is for furnaces and the other is for heatpumps.
I'd just check for 24 volts at the handler coming back from the stat before you work on the stat. Sometimes it isn't that we think.

    Interesting

Does Unico still use a sequencer as a time delay fan relay??? If so the extra amp draw of the heater coil in the sequencer could be the issue. Add an isolation relay so the coil will draw directly from the transformer and the problem will go away. (if that's the case) WW

    I ran into that

Couple years ago on a Unico we installed. It's not a T-stat issue, it's a Unico issue. Seems like I had to add a relay or something. I just remember that I had a really bad day when I did the low voltage wiring on that thing. I was using the unit for heating and cooling and something with the fan relay was giving undesired results until I added another relay to split the heating and cooling inputs from the stat. I also remember a looooonnggg phone call to Unico whilst getting the thing to behave as a good heating system should. As much static as I raised with them about it, I would have thought they had straightened the problem out by now.

they might have the system was installed 2 years ago and its taken that long to do the wood work in the house itsa 3700 sq/ft bungalow and the highest gas bill was $136.00 for 1 month in the last year the heating system was running fan continuous and is heated by a Viessmann Vitola boiler , I here that Viceroy wants the system featured in their new catalog for their homes .just installed the oak outlets and have to finish balancing the system .
