Advice on moving a radiator?

I'm planning to take one of my radiators to a refinisher this weekend. It's connected to a single pipe steam system, which has been turned off since early May.
Any tips on moving it? It's only 4 fins, so thankfully it weighs less than 150#. I plan to have lots of towels ready for the sludge that will probably slosh out (it appears not to have been touched since it was installed 100+ years ago).
I also need to replace the seal in the shut-off valve -- the valve won't close fully, so I can't turn it off when the weather is moderately cool. Should I replace the whole thing, or just get a new gasket/washer?
Finally, I'm going to get a "powder coat" finish baked on, rather than paint. Anyone have good or bad experiences with that?
Thanks!

Radiator.
Replace the valve,.You have it out and can make repairs somewhat easily. Powder coat,?,,,??? I don't know. I would think that it would be an insulator. And finally flush that baby out while you have it in the shop.0 -
radiator
I'm a homeowner with steam heat and we refinished 5 radiators last year. We found out replacing the two bad valves was easier than trying to repair them. Powder coating was my first choice after having the radiators sandblasted but it wasn't available anywhere here so we used high temp engine enamel and it worked great.0
