The guy fights demons that you and I can't even imagine. It's easy to take shots at him because of his downfalls but you gotta feel some compassion for him, too.

in the hole, not 20. He WAS fearsome 10-15 years ago. Hasnt been much of anything for a LONG time. I hear he still beats up women though. A real tough guy. At least he had some direction when he was under guidance of Cus D'Amato. He made his own bed. I feel sorry for his kids.

It's sad

what mental illness can do to a talented person. He may not have been Muhammad Ali, but boxing could use a big name heavyweight right now. Burger King probably wouldn't even hire him with those facial tattoos.

See that Moorer/Jirov fight? It needs to get better than that. For now, if I want to see a fight I'll watch Edith and Archie re-runs. ;-)

Heavyweights are

just weak and boring anymore. Viti Klitcho is really the only decent heavyweight. I was pulling for Mike to come around since nows his time to take back over the weight class. So much for that idea. I'll just stick to the lightweights , welterweights and flyweights cause thats where the action is. Did you fellas see Hatton / Zoo fight ? How about Wright / Trinadad ? My favorite is Manny Pac-man. Skinny boys really know how to take and throw punches. Not much hugging like the heavyweights.

If any of us

had done even a small percentage of what Tyson has done, we'd be in jail for a long time. No parole, no nothing. I really cannot sympathize with someone like Tyson. His current situation is his own fault, no one else's.

What's really scary is that there are still kids out there who see him as a role model......
