heat loss calculators for palm

For people who do this more than once or twice, I would think the pain of input on the palm would outweigh the convenience of having it on the palm. I've not met a program yet that doesn't take a good while to get all the information into the system. Given that I figure it probably takes me 3 times as long to do any input based thing on the palm, this would probably add 15 more minutes. Most people willing to shell out $ for this will also want nice reports...

just my $.02

The new PalmOne LifeDrive has Word, Excel and powerpoint. Maybe we could use a simple excel heatloss on this unit.

Is there a M- soft program for heat loss ? the spread sheet works well with the pocket nagger. I looked for a calculator on the web with no luck. The slant fin is nice, too bad it needs a pc. I guess I'm being lazy

    go to palm.com

and you will find all sorts of programs available- look in their engineering section, I believe. Some are free, others are more technical and broad in scope. There are a number of heat loss calculators and other products for the palms. I visited the site some time ago and this is all from memory. Can't admit I have a pda heat loss/gain calculator, but there are some available.

If I did this right, this is just one to look at, I know there are others, such as HVAC-calc: http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=44548 Greg
