I need your digital pictures of Wetstock VI

Not e-mailed. Not burned at "Shutterfly, Wal-Mart or Kodak" But burned, with all the data still in tact.

Typically, when your pictures are transferred from your film or digital camera, the data is compressed so it can be processed faster and with less detail. If you are simply going to view them on a screen, that's barely okay. If you want to print them however, the picture is usually so compromised by compression that fine detail is stripped and anything larger than 3X5 will look grainy.

So far, four wetstockers are sending me CD's with unedited and only slightly compressed pictures. One may actually be in RAW mode which has no compression whatsoever.

I plan on editing down to the very best 200, sharing them with anyone who shares with me, editting the pics to get the best shots possible and inserting little sayings or silly captions, much like Wirsbo did in their slide show after John Barb's talk.

Post here or email me your intentions so I can wait until I get all the CD's in the mail and then begin the editing process and burning in earnest:

I screwed up...

In my haste to clean up all the pics., I realized by putting my little "comments" on the picture, the boredom/tedium of a large display like this would be minimized; however, the really nice photos that are worth printing and framing will have my stupid "comment" line emblazened thereon.

Because of editing and my penchant to delete files, I have no originals left - they ALL now have my commentary.

Oh well...
