I'll be in touch. Maybe we can drag Siggy up there too.

I have to put up with this crap EVERY DAY...
Of course, IF you came to work for me, AND you pulled the graveyard shift, you would have to put up with this stuff...
And on the weekends, to avoid any issues with not wanting to go back to work, you could just visit the hills at night and smell the fresh air, but not actually do anything like fishin, hikin, bikin' or just plain relaxing.
Just thought I'd show you what you wouldn't see:-)

PS, The tallest mountain to the right is Longs Peak. It's over 14,000 feet tall, and people hike to the summit and back in one day, during the day. The furthest right hand hills you can see way back in the background is the Laramie River Range up in Wyoming.
Guess you wouldn't really worry about that tho...working the night shift and all...;-)
Don't Enjoy!

Blue Sky?
Looks like the landscape of another planet or something. In the concrete jungle of NYC, I don't see much of this stuff.
Is that a blue sky?
Those white puffy things must be the smoke clouds from the factory chimneys, right?
Green grass? Is that radioactive?0 -

Tallest thing we have around here is Mt. Tamalpias (2,300'; shown) and Mt. Diablo (3,300').
If you want, I'll take you up next week when you come visit.

What happened to
playing fair ? You know I live on an island that is not too far above sea level . Even the Pocono Mountains make me gape in awe . After the week I've had over here , I'm closer to taking you serious Mark .0 -
Hey Ron
Could you seriously live outside the concrete jungle? Would love to see the look on your face the first time a black bear snorted at you or a moose walked through your front lawn..:)0 -
Hey, Ron Jr.!
Climb into the van, cross the bridges off the island, head due North about 300 miles, and you'll be in the Adirondacks. Not as tall as the Rockies, but sure make the Poconos look like anthills. Whiteface, Mount Marcy, etc etc etc. Lakes & rivers for fishing trout, bass & pike, whitewater canoe & rafting, mountain climbing, camping, golf, boating plus lots of history. This year, there are several French & Indian War re-enactments up there, where the battles actually happened. Bring sunscreen, bug repellent & rain gear. The weather changes by the minute up there. Camping ranges from RV parks with all the amenities to a tent & sleeping bag on the ground miles from civilization. Enjoy!0 -
You know...
