Unpacked and
Got outside with my digital Sling Psychrometer. After the wonderful weather in Minneapolis, this is what we got home to.
Welcome home....

Just got back.....
....myself! Stopped by the office to unload the laptop and stuff.
Jeff - enjoyed very much talking to you this weekend.

Jaye & I are still here.
Saw Wayco Wayne and Phillip and and others.
We head home tomorrow, Monday.
The temps are up, as is the humidity and we have thunderstorms all over. Checked out the Missippippi.
It's pathetically clean - unlike my river, The Mighty Passaic. Saw mud but no tires, shopping carts and not one damn carp dead bloated with maggots.
God I miss home...

Linda
Asked me yesterday (Saturday) evening about staying another day so the kids and I could see more of the city. Of course, that was about 20 minutes after I confirmed our flight Sunday morning.
It kinda looks like we'll be back up there soon.

Many thanks to Dan...
... for making this happen. I was at the first and the last Wetstock - bookends of a memorable experience. It was a joy to get reacquainted with so many nice and talented people.
And the band played on...

I'm Home too
Got in about 2:15 Alaska Time. Chuck Shaw and I both made the plane OK, and landed in sunny Anchorage at 65 degrees. Hope everyone else got home OK. Gonna relax the rest of the day. Great to see everyone and meet new people.

And it will.
Thanks, pal.Retired and loving it.0 -
Just in myself
Filled with gladness to be home and also to have been with all of you. Like Ken said I ran into him before I left. I went up the light rail to Minneapolis and found Saint Anthonys Falls, a little Park surrounding the Falls on the Missisippi that started the city on it's way. They used the water power for sawmills and then when they ran out of trees they used it for Grist Mills. Pillsbury still has a flour factory there but the dont use the water turbines anymore. I like Minn. Yah you betcha! WW

Great Time!
Had a great time, but it's always good to return home. It was great spending time with all of you guys and I look forward to meeting with all of you at some point in the (near) future.
A special thanks to Dan, our host, and of course all of the guys at Wirsbo. Thanks!0 -
Home too...
We arrived home with the little one, who once again, was silent on the flight home (except for one or two winghings..).. Then we got stuck for 1/2 an hour on the Newark Airport Skytrain. Fully automated, we got locked in the cabin and at one point it actually moved backwards out of the station, keeping us trapped, then went forward to open the doors only to let a stampede of additional people into our tiny section. Elias was calmer then I was! Ah, technology... it sucks! Fine capper to a great weekend!
But it looks like we got a little traveler on our hands, so we may be able to make some of Dan's seminars in the more exotic locals... Why should Paul and Nadine have all the fun!
Thanks to Dan and TLM who are the epitome of hosts, and to all who stopped by my table to offer encouragement and feedback on my "Wiring Made Easy" venture. Look forward to our next meeting, where ever and whatever that may be...

A big bang event
I hit some very rough weather with lightning, rain and hail on my drive home. I counted 4 semis and a junk yard full of cars just blown off the road.
Kind of like an end-of-the-world-finale for the last Waltz. How do we appease the Wethead gods?
I finished my trip today and I am back home safe.
Thank you Dan for the wonderful opportunities you create for all of us.

Come on Paul
We're all waiting with baited breath. Don't leave us hanging.0 -
Safe and sound
Arrived Monday @ 7:30. All the rain we were threatened with in MPLS was dumped on Fargo and area. Good for the Wethead Weekend, but bad for the people of North Dakota.
Thank You Dan for organizing a truly informative session. I finally had the opportunity to put faces to the many personalities from The Wall. Unfortunately my first waltz was maybe the last, but I am confident the "meeting of the minds" will be reincarnated into an even grander event. Even "my sweet Mary Anne" came away with a new respect for what we trades people do. Now back to the trenches to employ some of my newly aquired knowlege.
Mr. Silberstein, I will be in contact wit you shortly0 -
OK here goes
MY cell phone AKA "the lunchbox" must have fallen out of my pocket while I was shucking and jivin trying to keep my legs from going numb in those little people airline seats.
Just as I excuse me ,excuse me ,excuse me, what the MOVE!!!!!!!got my suitcase from the turnstile defensive line I noticed the phone was not in the pocket.
Well I was past the point of no return so I looked for the nearest XYZ airline employee to try to reach the plane before it left....nope not a soul.not in this terminal.
At last I found the check in place and........... not a fricking soul?what? ok fine ,Nadine had a phone I could call someone right?talk to anyone right? nope nothing but on hold messages
Ok Back to the luggage place .where I found a nice young lady who worked in luggage services and said "I'm sorry but I work for XYZ airlines" yea great I've been looking for you.
An hour and a half after arrival her lips kissed the two way radio "anybodyfindaphone?" ok uh huh yea yea uh huh no sorry no phone sir,But let me take your info...
OK now on the bus back home Nadine's phone gets a text massage that reads "hey I found a phone, who are you"
sweeeet I Text back "call me" nothing ....wait...nothing another text message 20 min later "iaty654ythefrrydtddek,"
Then the phone would ring just as Nadine was almost done typing on those stupid little buttons three times to get the right letter and her screen would go blank because of the stupid incoming jibberish messages.
Time check...two hours after leaving the airport he calls.great thanks so much for calling I was really worried that I would never see that phone again.
So you must clean the planes for XYZ airline right?long silence..... ahh nope.well you must have been been on the flight right?looooooong silence yea from cancun. cancun?? how the? what the? well were did you find my phone? "In the bathroom at the terminal"
Thats when I new something was fishy because I made no stops to the mens room or anywhere else .
"Hey this looks like an expensive phone"
Yea it is how can I get it back?
"You got 200 bucks?" what 200 bucks come on man lets be fair 50 sounds like a fair reward, where are you ?
"Hyde park and bring your 200 bucks.call me when you get close" Ok now I'm p-ed off and the thoughts going through my head as to what to do to this POS were scary.
Another hour of going back and forth with this clown because he went back to the whole text message jibberish, jamming thing with Nadine typing and me on hold with Boston PD.
Off to the tough side of town's police station to get with LT soandso the whole while keeping MR Plane cleaner/phone hostage taker almost dead man interested "hey man It's too late I'm out a here" PLEASE I"M only a mile away please wait for me ok?
Now I promised Nadine we would go to the station first and I was planning on it but when he called for the 68th time he asked "what are you driving?"
A ford f350 red. "with lights on top?" huh "yellow lights on top?" errr yea "pull over he said" you see me I asked "yea pull over I see you"
AAAAAAAA s-it this might get ugly Nadine get low and call LT soandso so they don"t see you
da corner ov Everett and hyde park ave
da corner ov everett and hyde park ave
S-it give me the phone ,It's me the cell phone guy they spotted me I've pulled over at everett and hyde park ave
ok I'm hanging up so they don't see me on the phone
Three men stood 100 yards back waiting and watching then they got moving In my direction . It seemed like forever before they got to the truck still no cops.
When they got to my window they looked young and stupid (the most dangerous combination) and said hey some guy at the corner store said you would pay for this phone and we would split it
So now I started stalling knowing the boys in blue were just around the corner, and I looked at thier stupid faces and said you got maybe 10 sec to beat feet before the the cops get here.... oops too late
There must have been ten of them . The lads were put into two seperate cars and ten min later set free
"HEY you did'nt give them the money" we can't hold them.
THE airline got three messages from me In escalating anger through the night ,and called me in the morning to get the full story.
He gave me a big "I give a crap" talking to and "I'll look into this" blaa blaaa
I told him to look at the four people who cleaned that plane that night and see if any of them live near the corner of bla bla
OH I will and do you mind if i call you back to get more info ? YEA I'm still holding my breath ****----
MY goal is to get a trip to maui in exchange for being extorted from
what do you guys think?
