I just removed what was left of the shelving unit which was included in my Ford van. Looking to beef it up, and to add another unit from American Van. What is the best way to mount these to the van wall?
1) 3/4" strut with rubber grommets to absorb shock?
2) a whole sheet of plywood fastened to the rails with sheet metal screws-shelving unit screws to plywood?
3) forget the metal and use an old thick wood bookshelf?
I remember my dad's old Dodge Tradesman van with bins made from 3/4" boards, like an old plumbing supply-never a problem.

Racks
I have a Ford E-250 2002, neverhad a problem with fastners. If they do come loose, that is where they will eventually break their connections. I had it happen on a older ford.0
