Hey gang,

I am looking for software that will allow me to make proposals, estimate and keep businees administration procedures in order.

I know there are a lot of contractors in this forum, and help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

    Affordable, easy to navigate.

    I've had it for years.

    software

Take a look at Quick Books Pro, contractor version. Does a lot of stuff for a fair price. We use the Pro only version and have for years. Perfect for the small shop, but may lack features if you grow big.

    Software

I have used Quickbooks Pro for 10+ years. We tried other
software first. Quickbooks was by far the easiest to learn and use. I entered my materials and produce all my estimates. Checking and check writing are great. Payroll and tax forms are all automated. Most accountants now support this so tax time is a breeze.
I would not consider doing business without it unless I hire a part time accountant-(Not likely).

    Ditto

QB's "Pro" about 250 scoots at Costco/Price Club.

15 years. Payroll service is starting to get out of line IMHO, but it still makes any P&L or Balance sheet a snap.
