Interested in your comments on those hairline cracks that form on the bulkhead directly over the burner inlet(s). I have seen them just starting I usually consider a crack, hairline or otherwise to be cause to recommend replacement of the furnace. Technically, a crack is a crack. When starting they do not impact the combustion test, but what happens after I leave and do not document the presence of a hairline crack?? How does your company address this issue?
