My feelings....
)Run the boiler for a day or 2. Let all the products of install find their way to the boiler, then go for broke.
I like to first, overfill the WARM boiler with a buckett under the skim tap, till it runs clear and clean.(oils float!)Then, I like to flush all the returns through all and any available drains.
I then will take a sample of the water from the skim tap, and submit it for analysis.(We're lucky enough to have a great source in the next town over, directly accross the street from a major supply house) They will give you all the values of what is, and isn't there, and your best bet is to contact someone who does this for a living and feed them the numbers. They will be able to point you in the right direction as to treating the water.
Hope this helped. Chris0
